Ikan Goreng Asam Jawa

Ingredients
4 big slices of ikan merah or ikan tenggiri
3 bawang merah
2 bawang putih
1/2 bawang kuning besar
1 inci halia
1 cili merah besar
5 cili hijau
2 cawan air
2 tbsp asam jawa
2 tbsp kicap manis
Salt and sugar to taste

Instructions
1) Marinade the fish slices with kunyit and deep fry. Set aside
2) Panaskan minyak and tumis bawang merah, bawang putih and halia sampai garing
3) Mix water and asam jawa in a big bowl. Sift out any seeds then add into the wok
4) Perlahankan api sikiy and let it simmer for about 10 minutes until pekat. Add kicap manis, sugar and salt to taste. Mix well
5) Add in ikan yang dah goreng earlier, sliced big onions and chillies. Mix well for about 2 minutes and tutup api
