Jam Marble Cake

Ingredients
250g butter
1 1/4 cup castor sugar
5 eggs
2 1/2 cups plain flour, sifted
3 tsp baking powder
2 tbsp milk
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tbsp cocoa podwer
1 tsp pink food colouring
1 cup jam, any flavour of your choice
Instructions
1) Preheat oven to 180'c. Grease and line an 8" springform
2) Pop the butter in the oven for 30-45 seconds until its very soft but not melted. Take out and beat with sugar until smooth and lump-free
3) Beat in the eggs one by one. Then gently fold in the flour, baking powder and milk. Do not over mix. Separate batter into 3 bowls
4) Bowl 1, mix in the vanilla extract. Bowl 2, mix in the cocoa powder. Bowl 3, mix in the pink food colouring. Pour in the tin starting with the vanilla mix, cocoa mix and lastly the pink mix. Spoon through the batter to marble it
5) Bake in the oven for 60 minutes or until a pick comes out clean. Let cool in tin for 10 minutes then transfer onto a rack to cool completely
6) After that, cut the cake into half, spread jam in the middle and some on the top
