Mihun Goreng

1/2 pack of mihun
3 red shallots
2 garlic cloves
1 tbsp chilli paste
150g of chicken or beef (sliced small)
3 tbsp tomato sauce
2 tbsp chilli sauce
1/4 cup sweet soy sauce
1 chicken/beef stock cube
1 cup of water
1 egg
Green leafy veggies
Rolled eggs and red chillies for garnishing
Instructions
1) Soak the mihun in hot water for 1 minute. Drain and set aside.
2) Saute the chopped shallots and garlics until soft then add in the chilli paste. Continue to saute until 'peach minyak'. Add in some water if it's too dry.
3) Add in the chicken or beef and fry until half cooked.
4) Add in the water, sauces, stock cube and leave leave to simmer.
5) Add in the egg, wait for a few seconds before stirring.
6) Add in the mihun and veggies. I used cabbage and sawi. Incorporate well. Salt and sugar to taste.
7) Garnish with sliced rolled eggs and sliced red chillies.
