Ayam Masak Merah

3 - 4 pieces of chicken
1/2 big red onion (roundly sliced)
3 cloves of garlic
1/2 cup tomato sauce
2 tbsp chilli sauce
1/2 cup of water
1 tbsp green peas
Salt and sugar to taste
Instructions
1) Marinade the chicken with some turmeric powder and salt. Deep fry until fully cooked. Set aside.
2) Heat up some oil and sauté the garlic and onion until soft.
3) Add in the sauces and water. Leave it to simmer.
4) Add in the chicken and mix well. Add more water gradually if the gravy is too dry. Salt and sugar to taste.
5) Garnish with the green peas before turning off the heat.
