Black Pepper Chicken

Ingredients
3 red shallots
2 cloves of garlic
1 tbsp ginger
1 big onion
500 grams chicken breast
Carrots
1 tbsp thick soy sauce
2 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tbsp cornstarch (mixed with 1/2 cup of water)
2 heaped tbsp of blackpepper
2 red/green chillies
Salt and sugar to taste
Spring onion for garnishing

Instructions
1) Mix thick soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch with water and black pepper in a bowl
2) Heat up the wok with vegetable oil, sauté the sliced shallots, garlic, ginger and big onion until fragrant
3) Add in bite-sized chicken with chopped carrots until cooked through.
4) Add in mixture (1). Cook until the sauce thickens, salt and sugar to taste
5) Add in more black pepper until it's up to your taste


ps. You can also replace chicken with thinly sliced beef
