Mee Kari

Ingredients
Kuah
Bahan perencah (kulit kayu manis, bunga lawang, cengkih)
3 bawang merah
6 bawang putih
1 inci halia
1/2 inci lengkuas
3 serai, diketuk
3 senduk serbuk kari
5-6 cups air rebusan ayam
2 cubes chicken stock
1 cup diced tauhu goreng
1 cup diced fishballs or fishcakes
400 ml santan
3 asam keping
Salt and sugar to taste

Garnishing
Shredded chicken
Boiled eggs
Chillies
Bawang goreng
Daun bawang

Instructions
1) Blend bawang putih, merah, halia and lengkuas. Panaskan minyak tumis bahan perencah, then tumis bahan blend sampai naik bau. Masukkan serai, then serbuk kari. tumis sampai garing. Kalau kering sangat, just add some water and let simmer


2) Add in the chicken broth and chicken stock cubes. Biar mendidih. After that masukkan the tauhu goreng and fishballs. Biar mendidih lagi


3) Masukkan santan, kacau selalu so that tak pecah santan. Kalau rasa colour too cair, add in curry powder sikit-sikit. Biar mendidih then perlahankan api
4) Bila dah nak siap masukkan asam keping. Salt and sugar to taste
